The Liverpool Care Pathway involves intentional removal of treatment and causing the death of patients (Daily Mail 30 Dec 2012 J. Groves). Despite controversy it is still running under many different names (Daily Mail 14 March 2015 D. Martin) and has been shown to be of no clinical benefit (Daily Mail 15 Oct 2013) while affecting all age groups.
The LCP uses Forced Starvation (Red Cross. Rule 53. Starvation Prohibited) and Dehydration (Royal Society Medicine 16 Jan 2015. Paper shows increased death rates) and is cruel, painful and unacceptable (Professor Patrick Pullicino). Historically it has been immoral to end life prematurely, especially without consent.
We want a public inquiry into the historic deaths caused by LCP and immediate suspension of it’s continuing use pending the results of a public inquiry with the power to establish criminal responsibility and conspiracy to cover up evidence.
Framework for Pathway to Death. Group legal action against common purpose.
STAGE 1: Going in for check up or they have found X is wrong with loved one.
1.1 Denial by you= you to loved one “why would anyone hurt you? Good Doctor, kind staff etc“
1.2 Disbelief by you= you look for positive reasons, Doctor here to help you to loved one etc
STAGE 2: Most people never go below this line due to ignorance. Death is listed as natural cause. Now spoken to many who suspect foul play but loved ones body was cremated by government orders (CPX).
2.1 Detection=something is wrong here!
2.1.1 Dehydration Test by skin elatedness. Check fluids given as foul tasting liquids given to cause loved one to turn away and clench teeth when in fact want to drink. Dehydration can also cause lack of mental capacity so state can take over. See RSM report about this issue.
2.1.2 Starvation (food out of reach), Weight on charts might not match, be there to see it is done right.
2.1.3 Medicines wrong. Puts loved one in weakened state and lack of mental capacity.
2.1.4 incorrect pain management to make loved one have pain and want death?
2.1.5 People with problems with swallow given non-thickened fluids that could cause chest infections and if they die of this will be classed as death as natural causes.
2.1.6 Paperwork on medical files might not match real patients cause or needs.
This is where you should a) tape everything=ask questions. Check on line and get others opinion, b) video c) keep diary d) copy charts, look for data, e) back up. Should be started at stage 1, but better late than never
(Laws covering above?)
STAGE 3: Trapped and reducing freedoms
3.1 Stuck in bed= when they could use wheel chair etc
3.2 Barriers=DOLS or other ways to reduce your access to stop you seeing the dehydration etc
also prevent you from bringing in help of others by witnessing or videos etc
3.3 Anger=to Doctor and staff. Why are you doing this to my mother/dad? (Staff can be moved around, other CPX come into keep actions running)
3.4 Bargaining=let her/him live (Appears to be getting somewhere but totally ignored as loved one is weakened to death)
3.5 Seek help=CQC, Police, Lawyer, local MP etc. And none of them seem to help!
3.6 Intimidation=people told to shut up by the police! Reduce your creditability etc
3.7 White knight will help=never arrives (fight)
(LAW should be clear here and no obstructions to you accessing and helping your loved one which is what happened to me based on a DOLS lies to stop me from helping my mother which is a human right of mine and my mother right to live!) (sue CARE UK and Chester for lies on me and stopping me helping a person who could of lived according to experts) Name FACTS Doctors etc.
(Laws covering above?)
STAGE 4: Palliative pathway
Two doctors should sign Palliative pathway document, but junior doctors forced into it and regret it (but still liable). Note after 7 days person on palliative pathway should be taken off it, it they improve unlike my mother who was deliberate given more morphine. You have a right to see what drugs are given. A special RED folder of controlled drugs should be available for inspection by you to see what is being used and how much.
(Laws covering the above?)
STAGE 5: Death of loved one= loss sorrow (you now secondary target)
5.1 Depression= lost
5.2 Reflection= if I had done this…
5.3 Ask for autopsy = it is your right and you can ask for second opinion if they stop you
5.3.1 Detection of morphine at last stage of life, which is listed as correct does but does not take into account weakened state of individual etc.
5.4 Cover up= by nursing home/hospital/doctor
5.5 Challenge inquest
STAGE 6: Coroner
4.1 Fair=never. Your right to a lawyer and expert medical witness.
4.2 Fearless=not
4.3 Full=only looks for reason to list death by natural causes You have rights to have access to medical records etc. This shows things like 20% weight loss could show dehydration effects etc
STAGE 7: Go back to Denial?
7.1 Acceptance= Never. Name and shame and keep going. You have had someone taken away from you. Many say this is murder.
STAGE 8 or 2 onwards: Get a lawyer
Emails get hacked. Files get lost
Lawyer then drops case after months or years
FOI how much for 2 social worker for Dr Jones 3 times a week
FOI for injunction on Dr Jones.
SUE for lies on me.
